CCS-Developed Training Site Receives “Official Honoree” Distinction in Tenth Annual Webby Awards

Virgin Mobile USA’s CyberScholar®.com Site Recognized by Top International Honor for Web Sites

CULVER CITY, CA – May 5, 2006 – The Webby Awards, the leading international honor for web sites, has recognized Virgin Mobile USA’s “Train On Your Terms” e-learning site (http://www.cyberscholar.com/virgin_mobile) as an Official Honoree, a distinction that recognizes sites exhibiting remarkable achievement. The site is developed, produced and managed by Creative Channel Services, LLC (CCS), a leading sales, marketing and training services agency which is a subsidiary of Omnicom Group Inc. (NYSE: OMC).

Hailed as the “online Oscars” by Time Magazine, The Webby Awards are determined by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences, a global organization with a membership that includes such notables as musician David Bowie, “Simpsons” creator Matt Groening, and Real Networks CEO Rob Glaser. The 10th Annual Webby Awards received a record number of entries from over 40 countries and all 50 states. Out of over 5,500 entries submitted, fewer than 20% received the honor of being designated an Official Honoree.

Launched in November 2005 and hosted on CCS’ CyberScholar®.com, the #1 technology resource for consumer electronics sales professionals, the “Virgin Mobile: Train On Your Terms” site has been integral to Virgin Mobile USA’s campaign to expand brand awareness and knowledge of its line of products among retail sales professionals nationwide. Promoted at retailers such as Best Buy, Radio Shack and Target, the training site provides effective sales training through animated modules that combine witty storytelling, cartoon-like visual imagery, and sit-com sound effects. “Virgin Mobile: Train On Your Terms” was developed entirely by CCS, which designed the episode visuals, wrote the scripts to incorporate effective learning content, cast and ran photo shoots and voice-over sessions, and launched the modules.

More than 5,000 salespeople have completed the training in the first six months since the Virgin Mobile site’s initial launch. “The great thing about the site is that it delivers compelling information while also being fun,” said Dorothy Jeffress, retail training manager at Virgin Mobile USA. “We’ve consistently received positive feedback. Sales associates are excited about the site characters, and they come back to train on the site to find out what happens next.”

“At CCS, we are dedicated to providing best-in-class solutions for our client-partners,” said Andy Restivo, President of CCS. “Being selected as an Official Honoree of the 10th Annual Webby Awards is a wonderful distinction for CCS recognizing the outstanding skill, creativity and vision of our team.”
