As Senior Vice President & Chief Talent Officer, Cynder Niemela is responsible for organizational development & effectiveness, talent management, and human resources, with the mission of accelerating CCS's growth through effectively linking CCS’ people and talent strategies with the company's market strategy. Cynder is a highly talented and seasoned human resources expert who has specialized in working with global leaders and geographically dispersed teams who are enacting organizational change. Her experience with coaching and team-building provides an invaluable framework for developing leaders and career opportunities throughout the organization. 

Prior to joining CCS, Cynder was SVP, Culture & Communications at Countrywide Financial, where she spearheaded the culture management, employee communications, performance management, and consulting and coaching practices. In this role, she led her teams in initiating and facilitating organizational culture change activities with key stakeholders, focusing on aligning business unit cultures and communications with the Countrywide culture. Her team provided consulting, communications and research on best practices and methods to create and sustain a strong organizational culture.

Cynder is a Master Certified Coach (MCC) with Master Degrees in business and consulting psychology and more than 20 years of experience coaching executives, businesses and sports teams worldwide. Her book, “Leading High Impact Teams: The Coach Approach to Peak Performance” was published in 2001 and voted one of the top 10 business books in 2002 and 2003 by CEO Refresher. As an expert in organizational development and change management, Cynder has authored and been featured in numerous articles on the subject of talent management.
